The day that we will be able to hold our baby in our arms for the first time is commonly referred to as "gotcha day" in the adoption community. Although we may never know the exact day that our son was/will be born, we will always celebrate the day that we first hold him in our arms. Below is a video of the gotcha day of a little girl named Lucy from Ethiopia. I hope that as you watch it...and I recommend that you have tissues handy...that you will pray that God will provide us with the emotional and financial support that we are going to need to bring our baby boy home. Our experience will be a little different as we will have to travel to Ethiopia twice before we are able to bring our baby home, but this will give you a good idea of what the overall experience will be like for us. I have already watched this video multiple times, but I remember that with each viewing we are one day closer...
