I can't believe that it is July already...I feel as though this year has been speeding by me and I can't believe that in a few short weeks it will be time to great ready for my 11th year teaching high school English.  I have been spending my time this week getting organized and starting to plan for the new school year.  As you all know, I love to stay organized and I recently found this great company thirty One which helps people do that with style!  Before getting to the picture above I wanted to share with you our current progress in regards to our baby boy. 

As far as our adoption is concerned, things are moving along.  Some of you may have been aware that we were delayed because we had to have my physical form revised which meant that the homestudy documents had to be revised as well.  In total this set us back about a month, but there were some moments where we thought that the adoption may not move forward at all and we are thankful that God worked out all of the details in regards to the revisions. 

We mailed in our documents to immigration on June 22nd and we are waiting for a fingerprinting date to be assigned to us.  This is our final step in the paper chase process!  Once we receive immigration approval, which should take another 4 weeks or so, then we can submit the dossier and get on the waiting list! We are so thankful to be at the end of the paper chase process. 

It costs $7700 to submit the dossier (agency fee, international fee, courier service, translation fees, and post-adoption reports deposit).  At this time we have about $1600 towards our dossier.  If we can raise $2500 in the next month then we will be able to submit as soon as immigration approval comes through.
